a multimedia information structure concerning a Complex Issue, modeled and edited continuously by a multi-person editorial team that combines information from mass media with information from experts in various fields of science;
its goal is to create a full description of an important problem by discussing it through all the Reference Points existing in collective consciousness and by drawing on scientific knowledge.
AISI is dual-functional: on the one hand, it aims to provide up-to-date information from the world of science on the Complex Issue; on the other, to create a platform for social dialogue that makes it possible to reach consensus, that is, to illuminate the problem from all points of view.
AISI uses various forms of communication (e.g. text, graphics, film, …), choosing the most effective route for conveying a given content.
As an information structure, it can be read in different ways—starting from: a/ source content from mass media, b/ an analysis of the essence of the problem (reading according to the editorial arrangement), c/ keyword search.
